This is no mere blade – weighing in at 1100kg, this blade is a beast! With the power and traction of a large compact track loader(>70hp), it’s now easier than ever to achieve grades to within 3mm of spec for any application.
The GB096 & GB108 will ‘hard cut’ if you have the traction and power to push. On a reasonable size skid-steer it is possible to prep approx. 1000m2/hour to a perfect level, often more. Contractors that use them often have the machines quickly pay for themselves in material and concrete savings alone.
The units are fully automatic in up and down (Lift/Lift) as well as automatic side-shift when working to an edge on a 3D design. Compatible with most Machine Control brands. For automated 2D Laser guidance, a laser level is mounted on a tripod, and the receivers on the grader blade pick up the laser beam and adjust the blade automatically to keep it on grade. For automated 3D guidance, the grader blade can operate to a surface design using either GPS from satellites, or guidance from a Robotic Total Station. Perfect for 3D contour grading to unrivalled precision; even an inexperienced operator can be grading like a seasoned pro in hours, not months or years. Automated 2D or 3D options include Topcon, Trimble, Unicontrol & Leica.
